A transmedia story world about

balance, opportunity, near misses, and hope.

Meet Dr. Moriba Jah, an expert in orbital mechanics and professor of Aerospace Engineering and Engineering Mechanics at The University of Texas at Austin. He compares navigating through space junk to crossing an interstate highway, blindfolded, where there are no traffic cops and no traffic rules.

To survive in space, we must learn to exist in balance with the environment. Many ancient and indigenous cultures, such as the people of Moloka'i, offer guidance on how to live sustainable, balanced lives. This collective knowledge should inform the world's space strategies and guide our decisions about near-earth space. This is how Shifted Space sets out to safeguard our future.
