As you step into the Expo grounds, you're greeted by an array of exhibitions showcasing the very essence of human achievement - agriculture, economics, arts, and culture - all curated to perfection.
But there's more to this Expo than meets the eye. A rebel figure emerges and reveals unsettling truths about the AI's influence on the city and its people, painting a darker picture of control and manipulation.
Will you embrace the AI's vision of advancement while remaining mindful of its flaws, or will you consider the rebel's warnings with a critical eye? The future of the city depends on your choices.
Texas Immersive Institute
Texas Immersive Institute (TXI) is a program within the Moody College of Communication at the University of Texas at Austin designed to help students create immersive experiences that are intimate, interactive and experiential to engage audiences and build brands. TXI’s goal is to imagine the unknown into existence through the practice of immersion. Through its coursework, interactive events and technology-rich lab, TXI ensures its community will live at the intersection of culture and commerce such that consumers can engage through a blend of physical, digital and voice environments with ease.
Our Inspiration
At the heart of Elysian Heights' narrative is the concept of Partnerism, a term introduced by Riane Eisler, an esteemed social scientist, cultural historian, and prolific author.
Partnerism is a socio-economic system that deeply values and rewards the crucial work of caring for both people and nature. It presents a transformative alternative to domination principles from Capitalism and Socialism, and champions principles of mutual respect, non-violence, innovative solutions, equality, empowerment, and a deep-seated commitment to care.
The Technology
Elysian Heights is a mixed reality immersive experience that combines live theatre, escape room puzzle mechanics and immersive technology to produce a one-of-a-kind showcase.
